We will be focusing our Christmas efforts on helping around 10 families. This year we have decided to once again give parents a gift card to put towards items they’d like to purchase for their children. This is one way to empower the parent(s) as it allows them the opportunity to think about and select specific gifts that will be meaningful for each child. Or if the need is to put money towards rent or utilities, it gives them freedom to do that.

The Grove Covenant Church is known for its generosity both in time and giving! Our financial goal this year is $12,000. A small portion of the money will be used for Christmas Outreach, but most of it will go to fund our outreach ministries beyond Christmas and throughout the year. Approximately $3,000 will be used to help families in December, $3,000 will go towards helping fund our Getting Ahead initiative and $6,000 will go towards helping families during 2026.

We ask that you make this donation above your regular giving to the church. All gifts are tax deductible and will be shown on your giving record. If you write a check, please put Christmas Outreach in the memo portion. There is also a Christmas Outreach tab on our giving portal. 😊

Please pray about your part in helping us reach this goal. I have always appreciated the giving spirit of our congregation. As you give, you are a blessing to those in need at Christmas and beyond as they seek to care for their families.
