Student Ministry
We all want a place to belong, to be known, and explore what we believe. Teens and preteens are no different. Our Student Ministry helps provide opportunities to build relationships and develop a faith that will carry beyond those teen years. Our Student Ministry is more than youth group. From fun get-togethers, to weekly youth group nights during the school year, to small group discussions, summer trips, and service opportunities… there are many ways you can grow in your faith and in connection to God and other teens as a part of this youth group community. Winter Camp
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for Winter Camp 2026 at Covenant Harbor! Our camp weekend this year is February 20-22, 2026. We'll meet at church around noon on Friday and travel by bus to Lake Geneva for a great weekend of friendship building and spiritual growth.
Register online today and pay a $60 deposit to Covenant Harbor to guarantee your spot! Choose the Winter Camp 2026 season, then Winter Camp for Jr & Sr High, February 20-22, 2026. Register with “The Grove Covenant” group and continue all the way to the screen that's "Step 5: Review..." and hit the blue "Continue to Confirmation" button to finish.
Our total cost for the weekend will be $200/student. When you register, you will pay $60 directly to Covenant Harbor. The remaining amount ($140) will be paid to The Grove Covenant Church directly and is due by Wednesday, February 18.
We do have scholarship funds available and are happy to use them to help send kids to camp. Contact Pastor Kristin or Pastor Chuck if you would like more information on receiving a scholarship, or if you would like to make a donation to camp scholarships.

Youth Group PLUS at Food Finders
Middle School & High School students are invited to join us for a Youth Group PLUS service event on Sunday, February 1. We’ll be sorting food at Food Finders and packaging it so that it can go out to people in our community. Join us from 2:30-5:00pm, with
drop-off and pick-up at The Grove. We’ll meet in the parking lot and ride together in the bus to Food Finders. (If you’d prefer to meet us at Food Finders, just let us know!)
Those who plan to serve should fill out a waiver ahead of time, either by printing and completing a paper form or by registering online. When you follow the online link, just open the calendar, look for our event, and click on it. VolunteerHub will prompt you to create your profile, sign the waivers and you’ll be good to go! Please note that the same email can be used for multiple profiles. You can create profiles for any children using your email after you create your account.

Youth Group
During the School year, students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings throughout the semester for a time of snacks, getting to know other students, Bible study, and small group. We meet from 6:30-8:00pm each Wednesday in the Life Center building. Doors open at 6pm each week for those who would like to arrive early. Contact Pastor Kristin and Pastor Chuck with questions.

Youth Group Confirmation Class - Rooted
Students in 7th through 11th grade are participating in a 2-year confirmation discipleship group, called Rooted, where we will study the church’s history, the Christian faith, and the stories of the Bible. This group will meet from 9-10am on scheduled Sunday mornings throughout the year. For more information, please contact Pastor Chuck or Pastor Kristin.
