WORSHIP WITH US THIS SUNDAY!! – 10:30 am in-person, on our Worship page, or on YouTube. We hope to see you there!
Lent is a season in the Church Year that begins on Ash Wednesday (March 2, this year), takes us up to Jesus’ crucifixion on Good Friday, and, of course, to his Resurrection on Easter Sunday. It is forty days, not counting Sundays – which are always considered feast days, even during Lent.
It is common to connect Lent with “giving things up” yet we can “take on” things, too—practices of prayer, reading Scripture, serving others, etc.
We look forward to seeing what God does in and through us as we lift these things together in prayer.
